Skin Analysis with Skinscope

Skinscope: the skin check-up in Rome

What is Skinscope

Skinscope is a non-invasive skin analysis tool that uses two lighting modes—simulated daylight and LED-UV—to observe both visible imperfections and those hidden beneath the skin's surface. The LED-UV mode highlights skin fluorescence, allowing for the detection of sub-surface changes imperceptible to the naked eye, thereby guiding assessments and targeted skincare plans.

How does the exam work

Under UV light, some skin substances fluoresce: healthy skin tends towards blue, oily areas can appear yellow, dehydrated zones more purplish, and dead skin cell build-ups white, helping to accurately map what isn't visible in normal light. The examination takes place in a darkened environment, is quick and painless as it is based on long-wavelength UV, according to the same principle as the Wood's lamp used in dermatology for non-invasive assessments.

Benefits for your skin

  • Early detection of Sunspots and hyperpigmentations that escape natural light alone.
  • Evidence of Blocked pores, excess oil and dehydrated areas to guide truly personalised skincare.
  • Photographic documentation of the initial condition to monitor progress over time and response to treatments.
  • Objective basis for building tailored prevention and anti-ageing pathways.

The Skinscope skin check-up is available as part of your skin care and prevention journey. It's the ideal first step to set up a programme for Aesthetic medicine Personalised anti-ageing.
