Microneedling

Microneedling: the treatment that stimulates the natural regeneration of the skin

Microneedling is one of the most innovative and sought-after treatments in the field of Aesthetic medicine, thanks to its ability to visibly improve the appearance of the skin safely and non-invasively. At Absolute Health, we offer this treatment in a controlled medical environment, using professional devices and high-quality products to ensure effective and long-lasting results.

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a technique based on the creation of controlled micro-perforations in the skin, using devices equipped with very fine micro-needles. These micro-injuries do not damage the tissues, but stimulate a self-repair response that activates the production of collagen and elastin, the fibres responsible for the skin's tone, firmness and youthfulness.

What is it for?

Microneedling is an extremely versatile treatment, suitable for:

Fine lines and loss of elasticity

– Enlarged pores

Acne scars

Skin spots (colour variations)

Stretch marks

– Dull, dehydrated or sun-damaged skin

How is the treatment carried out

The session lasts approximately 45-60 minutes. After cleansing, a local anaesthetic cream is applied, followed by the device being passed over the face or the area to be treated. At the end, specific serums or active ingredients are applied, which penetrate deeply thanks to the micro-openings created.

Post-treatment

After microneedling, the skin may present redness, mild swelling, and a warm sensation, similar to that of a mild sunburn. These effects typically subside within 24-72 hours. It is important to avoid sun exposure and follow the instructions provided by your doctor.

Results

The benefits of microneedling are progressive: the skin appears more toned, radiant, and even after just a few weeks. A course of 3-6 sessions, spaced 3-4 weeks apart, is recommended for optimal results.
